Lauren staggered by evil Joel’s latest plan in Coronation Street video

Abuser Joel Deering (Calum Lill) is continuing to plague Lauren Bolton’s (Cait Fitton) life in Coronation Street.

The latest spoiler video follows on from last week’s dramatic episodes.

As viewers of the ITV soap saw, Joel employed someone to mug Lauren so that she was left without keys to his flat, where he’s been keeping her until he supposedly goes through with his plan to pay for her new life in Ireland.

It was clear that he was delaying sending her there as a way to exact his vile plot to kill their unborn body.

Horrific scenes showed him researching which medication could cause premature labour, and after getting his hands on the pills, he crushed them up and mixed them into her soup.

With Lauren alone in the flat, he locked the door behind her and she suddenly began to have contractions.

Luckily, her ex-boyfriend Max Turner (Paddy Bever) had tracked her location and jetted over to the property, getting firefighters to break the door in and rush her to hospital.

With news reaching Joel of what had happened, he and fiancée Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) rushed over and apologised for Lauren’s loss – only to realise that the baby boy was actually alive.

In the video, taken from next week’s dramatic episodes, we see Joel arrive with a balloon and a gift for Lauren, continuing to act innocent.

He assures her that she can’t bring up the baby alone and says his offer of help is still there – as long as she doesn’t send the email to the police that she has scheduled, that would implicate him for the crimes.

Joel continues to try and prove he’s trustworthy, but if she sends the email then he wouldn’t be able to help.

What will Lauren do?
