Samson Dingle is finally set to face the court for falsely accusing his cousin Matty Barton of stabbing him. However, Kerry Wyatt’s fight is not over yet. Viewers already know that Kerry was very much certain from the beginning that his son-in-law was innocent, which was actually the truth.

During a scuffle at the Hide, Matty was just holding the knife when Samson’s friend Josh shoved him into it. However, Samson and Josh teamed up and got Matty arrested. To free him from the prison, Kerry had a wild idea to trap Josh. While working at the Woolpack, she poured Josh a pint and started flirting with him.

It looked like the plan was about to work until Charity and Samson walked in. Samson quickly warned Josh that he was talking to Matty’s mother-in-law. Meanwhile, the Woolpack lady was furious with Kerry for using such sneaky tactics. Consequently, Amy’s mum demanded her boss pick between her and Samson.

Charity chose Samson, and Kerry was fired. Since then, things have been quiet on Kerry’s end, but guess what? Now that the truth about Samson is out, Kerry is ready to stand up for herself. She believes Charity will side with her. Next week, she attempts to convince Chas first.
