Coronation Street has confirmed that The Institute will target another resident next week, as the cult

continues to make its presence felt in Weatherfield.

With Leanne Battersby becoming increasingly involved with The Institute and influential member

Rowan Cunliffe, her sister Toyah and partner Nick Tilsley have been growing more and more worried about the hold that the cult seems to have over Leanne.

With Toyah’s life having been made a misery by The Institute, she’s left horrified by a new development in scenes that air next week.

As university student Amy Barlow reveals how stressed she is over her workload and busy schedule on the student radio station, Leanne decides to try to help relieve her stress by showing her an Institute video.

Toyah is disturbed when she comes across Amy watching the video, particularly when she realises that Amy is considering investing in The Institute.
